Have you heard about the Green New Deal? It’s a proposal that’s been gaining some attention lately. It links efforts to transition to a renewable energy system with efforts to strengthen the economy and increase the availability of living-wage jobs. The proposal shows that protecting the environment and human health does not contradict efforts to grow the economy; in fact, quite the opposite.

Read more about this idea here, and then contact your Members of Congress to ask them to support (and even champion!) the Green New Deal in Congress this coming year. Ask them to work with their colleagues in Congress to make climate change a priority action area this year. We cannot wait to take action – lives are at stake.
