“CT Clergy United to Prevent Gun Violence”
The good news: Over 5,500 people converged on the Capitol on February 14 in the March for Change, including many faith leaders. AND we have passed the 350 mark on signatures* – please keep inviting your colleagues to sign on to our letter calling for stronger gun laws in Connecticut. (But please don’t sign again if you’re receiving this… checking duplicates slows the work down.)
Please Take Action! THE TASK FORCE ON GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND THE LEADERSHIP OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY NEEDS TO HEAR FROM YOU TODAY.

Read Rabbi Joshua Hammerman’s recent blog post in the Times of Israel here. Read an excellent article by Rabbi Eric Yoffie, the recently retired leader of the Union for Reform Judiasm. He calls the indiscriminate distribution of guns a religious issue and calls on all clergy (rabbis, imam, ministers, priests) to take the moral offensive.
