President Obama announced executive orders and proposals for legislation to prevent gun violence on January 16 with the words “This time must be different.”
NETWORK agrees. We also agree with the President that this will not happen unless the American people demand it. It is time for us to make those demands.
The mass shooting in Connecticut last month shocked people even more than the previous mass shootings in other parts of our country. Now is the time for Congress to protect public safety and stop gun violence.
