Our long-time Director, Sister Mary Alice Synkewecz, retired at the end of June after 20 years of leadership at CCFJ! We thank her for all the work she has done over the years, and wish her well in her retirement.
Please join us in welcoming the new Director of the Collaborative Center for Justice, Dwayne David Paul! Dwayne joins us after seven years in higher education where he was a campus minister, a multicultural center director, and a lecturer in theology. His work has focused on institutional equity, social justice education, and leading solidarity delegations to Latin America. Dwayne studied philosophy and theology at Saint Peter’s University and Yale Divinity School, and he was a 2016 Fellow of the Black Theology & Leadership Institute at Princeton Theological Seminary. Dwayne is thrilled to contribute to the Center’s mission of educating the public and advocating for just policies.
We look forward to this next chapter in leadership at CCFJ. We hope that you will join us in working for justice in CT and the wider community!
