Knowing that we cannot be effective advocates on all issues, CCFJ has 4 main focus areas for advocacy efforts: Human Rights & Dignity; Economic Inequality; Immigrants and Refugees; Environmental Justice.
We will continue to be attuned to other justice concerns, and respond when needed to critical issues that may arise outside of these focus areas.
We produce timely, concise action alerts for our Voices for Justice Network to use in their advocacy and lobbying efforts. Action Alerts include detailed, relevant background information on a particular issue or bill and suggestions for taking action. Interested in receiving these action alerts? Check out our Voices for Justice Network page to learn more.
Check back for updated fact sheets on our priority advocacy topics from a Catholic Social Teaching perspective!
We can also provide Advocacy Basics trainings, with detailed information about how to get involved in advocacy and make your voice heard. We can provide a free workshop for your clients, staff, students, church or community group. Contact us for more information.
We couldn’t do this work alone. We rely on our sponsoring communities, Network members, other organizations who we collaborate with, and you! We are thankful that so many of you raise your voices together to challenge injustice in its many forms.
